There are many good reasons why businesses are choosing to implement an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) within their organization.  But for every business that pulls the trigger on going forward with an EDMS project, there are many more that are thinking about how this fits into their company's overall strategy and whether the time and money spent on an EDMS is worth the investment.  Business owners and decision makers are asking many questions regarding the need for an EDMS.  But when you filter it down, there are two questions that always come to the surface:  First - Are there compelling reasons to convert my paper world into a digital one?  And second -  How much will it cost or what's my Return on Investment (ROI)?
